Run Log 20250709

9 July 2025 ·

I’ve been struggling to keep my running consistency up this week. My last run was on Saturday, and although I planned for two short morning runs on Monday and Tuesday, I couldn’t complete them because my mind was playing tricks on me.

I’m happy with getting tonight’s run in, from here, the only way is up!

This was my first speed run in a long time, and fortunately, it went well. I enjoyed my time at the track this morning, and I’m giving my legs as much rest as possible the rest of the day.

I completed another run today, covering 5.19 kilometers in 29:21. This was my first light interval training after a long time. I can still feel my muscle injury on the inside of my right leg, but it’s much less painful than it was a few weeks ago. Tomorrow will be a rest day, allowing me to go on a longer recovery run on Sunday.
