To assess my running pace, I repeated the same interval workout today that I did on March 26. While I’m not quite back to where I was a little over six weeks ago, I am pleased with today’s training, as I was able to increase my pace for each set.

I’m collecting 52 songs in 52 weeks. Every Friday afternoon, I will add a song to my playlist. The aim is to capture my energy and feelings for that particular Friday with the chosen song.

Run Log 20250508
I started this Thursday morning with two different runs on the track: a 5-kilometer tempo run at a pace of 5:13 per kilometer and a 1-kilometer cool-down run at a pace of 6:21 per kilometer.
Both runs went quite well, and I’m happy that I went out again before starting my workday. Today will be a long and intense day filled with meetings and presentations I need to prepare for.
Run Log 20250505
I promised myself I would pick up my training schedule again this week, so I did today with two separate runs on the track. I did one 15-minute warm-up run and another 28-minute progressive tempo run for 43 minutes of exercise in total.
After stretching on the back of the first run, I started my tempo run, which combined a 5-minute warm-up with a 12-minute ‘out’ and an 11-minute ‘back.’ In my ‘out’ laps, I covered a total distance of 1,96 kilometers; in the ‘back’ run, I covered a distance of 2,28 kilometers.
