I installed @josh_____d’s Microwave theme on my micro.blog site. I like how it brings back memories of what blogs used to look like in the old days. I also started moving some of my /Slashes pages to this domain.

I have been tinkering with my Home Assistant setup after reading about this automation, which simulates presence at home while I’m away. The automation uses the logged light states from the previous day or week to base its light patterns on. Pretty cool, actually.

Today marked an early start to the week. I’m flying to London this morning to join my colleagues at our London office for a management meeting. This afternoon, I will travel by train from London to Bristol to join our R&D teams there tomorrow.
This is my last business trip this year. From here, I will be home with my family until January 5th to enjoy the December holidays.
