My Day in Three for today:

1. First day in the office this week, it was good to finally leave the house to see some colleagues in person again.
2. On my way home from work, I picked up my son at his girlfriend’s place. We had a 20-minute drive home from there and had some pleasant father-son conversations in the car.
3. I finished them over to admin in the evening and updated my self-hosted actual budget database. I’m currently manually importing transactions from CSV files I download from my bank. I want to figure out if there are other ways to do this without needing a third-party subscription.

My Day in Three for today:

1. I worked from home again today because of the weather. Tomorrow should be better, and I plan to go to the office.
2. My workday was very productive. I had a few hours to work on my presentations, and the afternoon was packed with meetings. This is how I prefer my work schedule. The mornings are for important topics to me, and the afternoons are for important topics to others.
3. The evening was filled with chores around the house and conversations with the kids about school. Raising teenagers is not easy. The hardest part is figuring out where to put the guardrails to support and protect them in their decisions.

Welcome to the year 2026. The year in which your Logitech Mouse stops functioning because of a certificate expiry.

The problem was caused by an expired certificate required for the apps to run. Because the certificate also affected the in‑app updater, you will need to manually download and install the updated version of the app.

My Day in Three for today:

1. It’s 2020 all over again, with the kids home for online schooling and my wife and me working from home. Because of heavy snowfall and icy roads, commuting to work and school is it impossible. It feels like the whole country has come to a halt when it comes to transportation. School has already announced that it will offer online lessons for the next two days, and there’s also government advice not to leave the house tomorrow morning.
2. As I’m working in the EST time zone this week, I have the mornings off. Because of that, I went out for a walk this morning and brought my camera to take some pictures of the landscape. You might’ve already seen them.
3. I had an important executive committee presentation today with my team. It was this meeting for which I was supposed to be in New York this week. The presentation went well, and we worked together pretty well as a team. I’ve also started reviewing a keynote presentation that’s been designed for me. The first draft needs some further work before it’s ready as stage material.

As you might have seen yesterday, my flight to the USA was canceled due to heavy snowfall in the Netherlands. Since I am unexpectedly at home today and have adjusted my work hours to EST, I took a walk near my house this morning. I brought my camera to capture some photos, as I don’t know when I’ll encounter this much snow again at home.
