The summer holidays are great for tinkering with technology and rethinking my social media setup (again). I’ve activated my micro.blog account (hub.schoonens.social) to start my social media interactions from here. Posts get cross-posted to different locations from here. More on that later.
Today’s Formula 1 race at Spa Francorchamps was disappointing to watch. I was hoping for a race full of action in the rain, but we got 44 rounds of cars following each other without any nice overtaking.
Piastri remains dominant and consistent in his performance. He’s driving his laps like a machine. #f1 #formula1
3 days in Oberbozen
I’ve been staying in Northern Italy for the past 3 days. I went with my wife and youngest daughter. We stayed at Pippo’s Mountain Lodge, located in the Sud-Tirol region in a small town called Oberbozen. Our stay here has been magnificent due to a beautiful view from our room, great hospitality by the hosts of this hotel and a lovely kitchen. I can highly recommend this place if you are traveling from any Northern European country to mid or southern Italy.
There are only two more meetings to go before I officially end my workweek and start my summer holidays. I was fortunate enough to travel to Sud-Tirol, Italy, earlier this week and finish my work from there while my wife and daughter enjoyed their first holiday days.
