MDiT for 20260104

4 January 2026 ·

[My Day in Three](https://schoonens.social/categories/mdit/) for today:

1. I had some deep afterthoughts from the conversations I had with my friends last night. There’s a huge benefit to being with friends for more than 20 years. You go way back to different faces in life, really know each other, and give each other good advice.
2. I wish I could have gone for a long run today, but unfortunately, I’m still injured in my right leg. I’m going to see a physiotherapist tomorrow to see what can be done about it. I also didn’t go out for a walk because there was just far too much snowfall today.
3. Sunday afternoon was about family time, as it’s the last day of our annual holiday period. We played some games, watched some series, and enjoyed the family dinner tonight. From tomorrow onward, everything will be about school and work again.
