This is the short resume of Camiel Schoonens, a husband and proud father to three children currently living and working from the Netherlands. In my current role I’m leading a global Product and Technology workforce in Worldline. My teams are responsible for the design and development of payment acceptance products for both in person and online payments. These products are used by more then 150.000 merchants on a daily basis.

SVP for the Acceptance Global Business Division. This global workforce of 1500+ Product and Technology people is responsible for the design, engineering and operations of payment acceptance products for both in-store and online businesses. - Ingenico ePayments (2019 – 2020)
Chief Technology Officer
VP Technology and CTO for the ‘Global Online’ business unit. As CTO responsible for the build and run of Ingenico’s eCommerce payment products in Europe, India and South America. - Improvision Consultancy en Advies (2016 – 2019)

People often confuse having a plan with having a strategy. A strategy is a unique set of steps which when executed successfully gives you a durable competitive advantage.
A plan is just a bunch of work. If it doesn’t lead to a competitive advantage then it isn’t a strategy.
