🛫 Marrakech – Lisbon 🛬

31 March 2025 ·

My holidays in Marrakech have come to an end today. I’m not flying home with my three friends; instead, I will head out to Cascais, Portugal. I’ll be in Cascais for the next three days for business and hope to get some of the local experience, too, as I’ve never been there before.

My four days in Morocco have been magnificent. It’s only now that I’m reflecting on our experiences here in and outside the city. The hike through the Atlas Mountains and the private lunch we had at a local family in their house is something I will never forget.

🛫 Eindhoven – Marrakech 🛬

27 March 2025 ·

The day started very early for me today with a taxi pick-up at 04:30 in the morning. I’m going to Marrakech today with three of my oldest friends. We are staying in the Marrakech area until Monday morning and we will do lots of cool stuff between now and then.

This is my first time traveling to Morocco, and I look forward to the cultural experience, the fantastic nature, and the warm weather compared to the current weather at home.

🛫 Amsterdam – Barcelona 🛬

19 March 2025 ·

I’m returning to Barcelona for three days of work at our European headquarters. This time my wife is traveling with me so she can enjoy the city during the day and we can enjoy some Spanish wine and food in the evening.

We booked tickets for Casa Batlló later today. While both of us have been to Barcelona multiple times, we have never visited this Gaudi masterpiece.

17 March 2025 ·

I combined two training sessions this morning as I will be traveling from Wednesday onwards, and I don’t know yet if I can run in Barcelona in the second half of this week.

Melbourne Qualifying

15 March 2025 ·

What a great opening to the F1 season with today’s qualifying in Melbourne. The Papapya’s are in the front row. Too bad Piastri didn’t secure a pole for his home race. Verstappen taking 3rd position behind them is a surprise, as I expected Ferrari to be on the 2nd and 3rd rows of the grid. Williams did a good job today, and so did Gasly.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s race. I don’t think Verstappen can do anything to split Norris and Piastri at race pace unless we get some serious rainfall. McLaren still has the fastest cars on the grid.
