My Day in Three for today:
- Another fully packed day in the office. I still have lots of errands to deal with this week.
- I’ve been thinking about this post by Om Malik a lot.
What matters now is how fast something moves through the network: how quickly it is clicked, shared, quoted, replied to, remixed, and replaced. In a system tuned for speed, authority is ornamental. The network rewards motion first and judgment later, if ever. Perhaps that’s why you feel you can’t discern between truths, half-truths, and lies.
- After picking up my daughter and her two friends from field hockey practice, I went home and relaxed on the couch for a while. I then spent the rest of the evening reading a book.
